SACEMA – Loading of paper making machinery in North Sweden

GIRN SACEMA Relocate One of the Biggest Paper Making Machines in the World

Shortly before closing 2022, Sacema Nordic Projects our GIRN member, completed the loading of paper making machinery in North Sweden.


Despite the challenging weather conditions, down to -20 degree C, limited daylight, snowstorm and strong wind from North East, the cargo was loaded safely onboard and now passing warm weather in Med Sea, on the way to its final destination.

7 Worldwide Logistics team just recently finished a challenging delivery from Germany to Arizona. The transport executed perfectly, safe and sound accorded to the schedule. 7 WL did an astonishing job.


Details:

7 WL is happy to share some news about a recently finished project ex Germany to USA.

On behalf of their customer โ€“ a well known supplier for hoisting equipment โ€“ they arranged the transport of several crane girders with length up to 28 meter and accessories packed in boxes with a maximum width of 450 cms.

For smaller items 7WL offered a container lease option for the customer which allows a smart and cost saving solution for transport of all parts on same vessel.

Transport started ex fabrication yard located in eastern Germany and went via Brake Port on board of โ€œStar Isfjordโ€ till Houston, USA.

The last leg of 1770 kilometer till final receiver in Arizona was than again performed by trucks.

SaCeMa Nordic Projects accepted a challenging task to relocate one of the biggest paper making machines in the world within just 7,5 months.

Sure thatโ€™s nothing to Sacema Nordic Projects, they are doing the best.

and got immediately awarded to relocate

โ€œOne of the biggest paper making machines in the world, within 8 monthโ€

1 paper making machine 350 meters x 12 meters x 19 meters / about 8000 ton

300 x trucks IG and OOG upto 1900x350x380 cms and upto 108 ton units + 30×40โ€™HC SOC.

SaCeMa Nordic Projects teamed up with long time stakeholders, who fast understood the need, to full fill commitment, against ย the customer.

Building now handed over to  a battery company on 22 December for new adventures.

Case Study from Bauberger AG

GIRN Bauberger A tram journey - with 66t of auxiliary material 1

BAUBERGER AG just had a challenging and heavy task to place a new underfloor lathe at a tram depot. At the end with a 60 tonnes of auxilary materials were required Bauberger executed the task perfectly safe and sound.


Details:

A tram depot is a complex and special building. There are countless rails and electrical overhead lines for the trams and many pits in between to enable maintenance work on the trams. And there is a basement under the entire building.


In order to place the new underfloor lathe with its weight of more than 16 tonnes into its new foundation, all these aspects had to be taken into account in detail during the planning phase. They required some special solutions.

In the end, more than 60 tonnes of auxiliary materials were required to unload the new machine from the delivery truck with two Montys, move it to the pit on special heavy-duty rail vehicles and to place it in its foundation.
