7 Worldwide Logistics Power Plant Project Bangladesh

Already in September 2022 the 7WL Project Team has started the operations for the transport of a 150 MW power plant to Bangladesh on behalf of their customer MAN Energy Solutions.

The “heart” of the power plant will be 9 × MAN 18V48/60 TS engines which will finally produce reliable energy end 2023 in Sreepur – located in the north of Dhaka.

The complete logistic operations took around 6 months with constant cargo flow of 40’ Flats / 40’OT OT and HC Container from many different places in the world like Finland, India, China, Greece, Spain and Northern Europe.

The highlight of the project has been – without any doubts – a part charter with 2 separate loading ports in Europe ending by direct discharging into consignees barges in Mongla.

ex Saint Nazaire, France

9 Engines / each 1300x490x650 / each 320 tons9 TCA / each 520x360x360 / each 32 tons

ex Bilbao, Spain

7WL FCL Break Bulk Parcel via Umm Qasr Port till door Baghdad

7 Worldwide Logistics has just executed perfectly and delivered the heat and quench exchangers from Berlin to Baghdad. The project finished just in time.

▶️Details:

On behalf of a world leading producer of Heat Exchanger in the oil and Gas sector they have executed the transport of 10 Units Secondary Quench Exchanger together with spare parts and lifting devices having a ttl volume of around 600 FRT.

The cargo was collected ex factory Berlin by barge / truck combination in order to have the most efficient utilization of the equipment.Short before operations started they have been informed about massive vessel rotations with the effect that the ocean vessel started discharge / loading operations already at that time when their cargo was still at suppliers site. Same has directly lead to a lot of talks with MSC, Terminal Operators, Barge and Truck companies.

Together with all involved they finally managed to have all items exactly 1 day before vessel departure loadready at Terminal. After arrival at Eurogate Terminal Hamburg the cargo was directly transferred to Mafi Trailer for a smooth transfer alongside vessel “Monaco Maersk”. The 12 OOG Items have been stowed on a bed of 12×40’FR inside vessels hatch. All in all – perfect example for: “Just in time delivery”

As from arrival at Umm Qasr their local partner will take over and arrange the oncarriage till Refinery Site in Baghdad.

7WL did great again👏👏

Project Update from 7WL

7wl pro

🔝7WL Bremen had a double challenging task with a 69 tons trafo transport to Greece.

The task was completed just before the national holiday.

Details:

7WL Bremen just recently finished the transport of a 69 tons Trafo from Eltmann, Germany to

Piraeus Port Greece incl. arranging the mobile crane for lifting ex storage place onto truck.

The timeline of this transport was under special pressure as the trafo was urgently needed in Greece for support of existing equipment during summer and holiday season. The process for permit application was therefore under daily revision by 7WL in order not to loose any day.

As from loading day incl. lifting operations they just had 3 days to reach the target vessel in Antwerp port.

7WL finally reached the day when vessel was already under full loading operations and unluckily it was also a day before national holiday. So double challenging.

With all parties involved – incl. telephone calls till late evening – it was finally managed to get this unit save and sound on board on “MV Grande Ellade”.

This was a pretty hot stuff. 🙌🙌

Relocation of a coal power plant from Southern Germany to Pakistan

A great journey starts with massive planning.

7WL started a relocation from Southern Germany to Pakistan with 250 containers and 80tons Bulk Cargos. This is a very challenging task but not for these guys.

Details:
After some time which was used for planning of dismantling, the dismantling work itself and transport planning, 7WL can report about successful start of a relocation of a coal power plant from Southern Germany to Pakistan.
With a total volume of 250 containers and around 3000cbm of Break Bulk cargo this project is again a challenge which was accepted and managed by 7WL project team.

At this stage to our GIRN and EPN partner CHS Bremen for supporting us with a large number of good 2nd hand containers in a perfect condition at the right time and place.
7WL delivered them by side loader equipment to jobsite where the dismantling team of POL-Inowex took care about stuffing, lashing and securing. After some days they exchanged those containers at site with new empty container and delivered the full containers by barge to the seaport of Rotterdam where the same got loaded on FCL vessel towards Pakistan.

Additionally the break bulk movements started as well.
The biggest challenge they managed was to move units with weights up to 80 tons and dimensions up to 5 meter height and 4.8 meter width from site to nearest inland port – in this case Basel. During next week the first parcel of around 2000cbm will get loaded on CP Break Bulk vessel “CP GALAXY” heading to Karachi Pakistan. The second OOG Lot is planned for departure around end of June.

Keep up the good work 7WL👍
