We are proud to highlight another successful project delivered by our GIRNetwork member, Energomontage Engineering AD. As part of a key infrastructure upgrade in Sofia, Bulgaria, the team executed the replacement of a 10-ton chiller unit, demonstrating the expertise and reliability that define our network. ✅ Scope of Work The project included the development of a comprehensive lifting and rigging plan, provision of suitable spreader beams, and modification of the feed and return pipelines to ensure seamless integration of the new unit. ✅ Execution Strategy All lifting operations were carried out outside of regular working hours to maximize safety and minimize disruption to ongoing operations. ✅ Technical Highlights The works were performed using an LTM1500-8.1 mobile crane, operating close to full capacity and reaching a working radius of 48 meters with full ballast—showcasing precise planning and expert execution. ✅ Challenges and Results Despite limited access, long working radius, and complex system integration, the project was completed safely, without incident, and well ahead of schedule. This project once again demonstrates the ability of GIRNetwork members to deliver efficient, safe, and high-quality engineering solutions under demanding conditions. |
