We’re pleased to share an impressive project update from our member Bash Ingenieria S.A. De C.V., highlighting their expertise in managing complex industrial relocations. 💼 Bash Ingenieria S.A. De C.V. was engaged by a long-term U.S. customer to support the relocation of a production line within their facility in Mexico. While the distance between the origin and destination buildings was less than 2 km in a straight line, the realities of handling oversized equipment required a carefully planned 10 km transport route to ensure safe delivery and proper access. 🚚 The project involved six large Injection Molding Machines (IMM), including two extra-large and four large units, along with multiple truckloads of molds, accessories, fixtures, conveyors, and related components. Planning for this operation began six months prior to “Day 1,” reflecting the complexity and precision required. One of the most challenging elements includes the handling of IMM sections weighing up to 120 tons, with the largest components still pending relocation. To execute the separation phase, Bash Ingenieria S.A. De C.V. collaborated closely with the customer’s in-house maintenance team and electrical contractors. Additionally, a new access point had to be created through demolition work to optimize rigging distances and trailer positioning. Despite an ambitious timeline driven by the customer’s production schedule, Bash Ingenieria S.A. De C.V. has been able to improve efficiency throughout the project, particularly in rigging and decommissioning activities. 💪 The equipment deployed for this operation includes: ✅ A multi-axle Goldhofer trailer for transporting 100-ton sections ✅Four 50-ton lowboy trailers ✅40-ton heavy rigging Versalifts ✅A 300-ton DEMAG crane ✅50-ton skate rollers The destination facility, being a newly constructed building, offers ample space, which has further supported the smooth progression of the project. This project is a great example of Bash Ingenieria S.A. De C.V.’s capability to deliver safe, efficient, and well-coordinated solutions, even under challenging conditions. Thank you to Bash Ingenieria S.A. De C.V. for sharing this outstanding achievement with the network. 💼 |
