🎥In the new clip HARDER logistics take you to Austria to visit the customer: Amann Girrbach , for whom the logistics provider has relocated the entire factory near Bregenz. Amann Girrbach is a pioneer in dental CAD/CAM technology and is one of the leading innovators in digital dental prosthetics.

🚛Details of the relocation
The relaction included ten turning and milling machines as well as four hydraulic presses. As a company relocator, the logistics for such heavy, sensitive equipment are part of the everyday work.

⚙️Press as an example of the challenges
HARDER logistics GmbH & Co. KG were on site with a team of five to move the press shown in the video, which weighed over 23 tonnes. The challenge of handling the system through a limited space was exemplary. To do this, the team placed the press on a chassis and slowly and carefully brought the machine out of the building. One challenge of this project was that the press had to be lay down for the transport.

🏗️Innovative crane technology
For this purpose, the new crane tandem consisting of a pick & carry and a loading crane was used for this. The 40 tons Pick and Carry, which does not need to be stabilized, took the press on its hook. With the second crane, the lading crane, the HARDER-team could counterbalance it in order to bring the machine into a horizontal position. By ‘flipping it over’, transport was also possible without a special permit. At the assembly site, the press was repositioned vertically with the crane tandem and then brought to its workplace in the factory.
