| Ms. Tiffany Martell frTwo months ahead of schedule, HARDER logistics, a proud GIRNetwork member, has officially opened its new headquarters in the Riffelbank industrial area of Neu-Ulm. The inauguration was marked by a symbolic final “cornerstone” placed by Johannes Danieli, authorized officer at HARDER logistics, an art installation gifted by construction partner Blautal.  Managing Partner Marcello Danieli expressed pride in the achievement, noting that the project was completed twelve months after groundbreaking, ahead of schedule and below budget. The €9 million investment includes a new office complex, a multifunctional logistics hall, and outdoor areas, complemented by a fully automated container warehouse launched in 2022 following an additional €7 million investment.  The new site reflects HARDER logistics’ strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and regional responsibility. Operating CO₂-neutrally, it features a powerful rooftop photovoltaic system generating up to two megawatts of electricity per month, alongside a heat pump, smart energy management, and a green roof that integrates the facility harmoniously into its surroundings. Architect Berthold Braunger of Braunger Wörtz Architekten emphasizes the modular and circular construction, allowing the buildings to be expanded or recycled in the future — with a natural timber façade highlighting the company’s sustainable vision.  The 4,800 m² logistics hall offers versatile storage for machinery, goods, archives, and art collections, including 14 kilometers of shelving for document management. A dedicated hazardous materials area for truck and bus batteries broadens its capabilities, and 80% of the space is already booked. Adjacent to the hall, the 800 m² two-story office building combines open-plan spaces, private offices, and phone booths, designed to reflect HARDER logistics’ flat hierarchy and collaborative culture.  On the same site, the company also operates a fully automated container warehouse with capacity for 250 containers, offering clients 24/7 autonomous access via a mobile app, a truly innovative feature in the logistics sector.  With this multi-stage investment, HARDER logistics strengthens its position as a future-ready logistics partner, combining efficiency, sustainability, and flexibility to grow alongside its customers in Germany. |
