| On Wednesday 29 October 2025, MODPACK SYSTEM celebrated its 18th anniversary by officially launching its new Metal Fabrication Division at its headquarters in the Ploiești Industrial Park, Prahova. The Open Day gathered over 100 guests including business and administrative partners, banking sector representatives and media. Speakers included Founder & President Valentin Mălăescu, Prahova Chamber of Commerce President Aurelian Gogulescu, Deputy Prefect Mircea-Adi Tănase, and General Manager of the Industrial Park Andrei Țurcanu. Gogulescu praised the company’s strategic vision, adaptability and perseverance in becoming a benchmark Romanian business with global reach. Mălăescu reflected on the evolution of the firm—from a small team to a major global player in integrated logistics and industrial services, recognized for professionalism, quality and innovation. The new production facility is the result of a €4 million investment, and will create 50 new jobs. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including orbital welding — a first in Romania — and offers full metal-fabrication services: cutting, bending, TIG/MIG-MAG/MMA welding, corrosion protection, piping system prefabrication, and production of metal structures and complex industrial equipment. As a 100 % Romanian-owned company and member of the Board of the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, MODPACK SYSTEM has grown over its 18 years into a global leader in industrial relocation, export packaging and multimodal transport solutions.
